End of the Year

Teacher Appreciation

The school posted papers on the door to have students say why they loved us. Well I have Kindergarteners so instead I had some moms who said some wonderful things about me! It made me feel wonderful! I love my job!

The school put up this cute sign in the school to say thanks to the teachers.
Kenner's Mom, Stacie Carter, gave me this note on some paper towels
(teachers love those) along with this wonderful card.

Katelynn Boren gave this jar with M&M's! So cute!

The kids decided to pic the flowers and give them to us teachers.
(Me, Heather Eoff, Samantha Woodcox)

Abi Upwall moved before the school year, on her last day she
brought me a beautiful rose and this note from her and her mom.

Graduation Party

After the graduation, while everyone watched the slide show,
we ate this cake and the cup cakes.
Arron's Mom, Rebecca Deans, made these for us!
It was not only amazing looking but also super yummy!

 Last Day of School

My cute OEK kids all decided to run up and give me a group hug.
Yep it was sweet, but I did almost fall over!

Christina Boren, Katelynn's Mom, made me a apron with a tree and the leaves were the students finger prints and names under them. Under, it reads "Thank you for leaving a lasting impression." It was so cute!

Ellie Conrad wanted a picture with her teacher at the end of the year. So Cute!

These are the cute gifts my students gave to me the last day of school!
The crayon art reads "You have colored my world and touched my heart."

Science

Once of the science experiments we did during the year was dealing with plants. We wanted to see how plants drink. So we split the stem into two and put them into two different colored water (Yellow and Blue). The students loved watching each day as it slowly changed colors. They especially loved how in the middle became green because of the color mixing.

Easter Party

Abi Upwall came to school with plastic eggs in her hair! Her mom is super creative!

 Class Bunny Pictures!
For our Easter Party we made our Bunny hats, Bunny Baskets, then had an Easter egg hunt outside. The kids had a lot of fun!

Saint Patrick's Day

For Saint Patrick's day we made leprechaun hats, they were the cuties things ever with the red beard! We did this to "trick" the leprechauns to come to our class. Then we build traps to catch the leprechauns with. At recess I put all sorts of fun items which were green and gold into their traps. Then they came back they saw all of their traps closed. When they opened them they enjoyed the surprise from "catching" a leprechaun and getting his "gold." We had to take a class picture with the hats!

Spirit Week

 Character Day
Character day fell on Doctor Seuss Day So I had my character picked out...Thing 1!

 Class Doctor Seuss Day Picture

Sammie and I Dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2!

 Pajama Day!
We got to dress in our Pj's this day to school!

 Sports Day!
We got to dress up in jersey's today!

 Stuffed Animal Day!
The students got to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school.
We set up special chairs around the room for them to sit on.

 George Washington Day

Our Class Picture as George Washington's

Mckell Smith (cousin) came and visited my class today; so her, Sammie, and I had to make hats and take pictures together!

Valentines Day

Our Valentine Boxes we made. Yep mine is a Pencil.

I had to take a picture of me "writing" with my "pencil."

Stockton Konold (Janitors Son) brought me a rose on Valentines Day!

One of the things my moms planned for the Valentines Party was a pinata, all of the kids got to try hitting it then I ended it off with a bang since they didn't break it. Yep first pinata I have ever broken!

Another thing which was planned was a photo-booth, which of course Sammie and I had to do as well. We had fun taking some pictures together!
